My husband likes kale so I thought it would be fun to put some kale in a pasta dish and I had some sausage in the fridge so I put it all together and it turned out pretty yummy!


Sausage and Kale Pasta Skillet


I used ground sausage and cooked it in a pan for about 15 minutes until golden brown.  I added about 2 cups of fresh baby kale to the sausage and a can of diced tomatoes and let that cook all together for about 4 minutes.  I cooked about 8 ounces of gluten free pasta and added it right into the skillet with the sausage, kale and tomatoes.  Mix all together and add 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, 1 teaspoon basil, 1 teaspoon oregano and salt and pepper to taste.  Really yummy 🙂
