My Little Gluten Free Girl and I enjoyed this yummy snack today while the boys were out.  It was fun to share these together 🙂  They really are a yummy snack.  I added my fresh rosemary to the bread and cheese mixture and it was so good!

Baked Mushroom Fries

I used one large Portobello mushroom and wiped it clean, took off the gills and cut it into pieces.



I  made my own breadcrumbs by putting 2 pieces of gluten free bread in a food processor.  Add in about 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese and fresh rosemary and a bit of salt and pulse until it’s a nice bread mixture.


Lightly beat 2 eggs and dip the mushroom pieces in the egg.  Dip the egg covered mushroom into the bread mixture and put on a baking rack on top of a baking sheet. 



Bake in a 375 degree oven for 15 minutes. 


I served tomato sauce with the mushroom fries, just a little something to dip them in.  Enjoy 🙂
