So my sister and I were talking about Cobb Salad last night and so it got me thinking about making our own version of a Cobb Salad. I took a few of our favorite things to eat that would go well together on a salad and this is what I came up with.

Lay out a bed of lettuce, you could use any kind including spinach or romaine. I sliced up 1/2 of a red pepper for the first ingredient. I put an entire can of whole black olives as our second ingredient. We all really like sunflower seeds so that is our third ingredient, just sprinkle a bunch on top of the lettuce. We also love fresh mozzarella so that is our cheese in this salad and for our last ingredient I used gluten free deli turkey with a little cheddar cheese cooked on top of the turkey in a skillet for our last ingredient, you don’t have to do the cheddar cheese on top, just plain turkey would be just as good.  We added a Greek olive dressing on the side but you could add any dressing you want and really any ingredients you want for your Cobb Salad.

A lovely salad to enjoy for a summer lunch 🙂
