So I have been seeing spaghetti squash in place of spaghetti pasta so of course I had to try it and see if it was as good as it looks- I love trying new things in my Gluten Free Cooking and this was definitely new 🙂

Parmesan and Garlic Spaghetti Squash

So this is a Spaghetti Squash!


I put the whole spaghetti squash in tact on a baking sheet and let bake for an hour at 375 degrees.  Take it out and let cool for at least 15 minutes, if you don’t want a crunchy texture leave it in for another 10 minutes or so.


Take out the seeds and flesh and scrape out the strings of spaghetti.

I drizzled olive oil over it and added a little course ground garlic salt, fresh parmesan cheese and fresh basil.  Tasty and different 🙂



My son surprised me and wanted to try it with a little tomato sauce on it with parmesan cheese and he had 2 bowls!  YEAH!
