The tomatoes are so good right now that I was trying to think of something yummy to make with all of the tomatoes I had gotten at the store.  This is what I came up with and it’s our new favorite!  Ham and Cheese Sandwich without the bread!

Breadless Ham and Cheese Sandwich


I used a really good piece of gluten free ham, put a little cheddar cheese on top and put it in a skillet to melt the cheese and crisp up the ham.  Do this to two pieces of ham as they act like the bread for the sandwich.


Slice up two nice big pieces of tomato.  Add a little sea salt to each piece.


Put one piece of ham on the bottom, add both slices of tomato on top and put the second piece of ham on top of the tomatoes.  Go ahead and eat it like a sandwich or use a knife and fork.  Either way, it’s really a great gluten free meal!
