My Sister Dena is my guest recipe this time:)  We had our monthly Sisters/Girls Lunch and this time it was at my Sister Dena’s house and she made these really yummy BLT wraps but she used flour tortilla’s which is fine but of course not gluten free.  So, she asked what she could do to have gluten free food on hand for My Little Gluten Free Girl. We just decided to turn the wrap into a BLT gluten free salad without the wrap!  YUM!  

BLT Salad


For the BLT wrap you could use a corn tortilla to make it gluten free instead of a flour tortilla or just adjust the recipe to make a gluten free BLT salad which is what we did.

10 slices of cooked bacon

1 cup of cherry or grape tomatoes

2 cups of shredded lettuce

4 tortillas gluten free or just skip the tortillas

3 oz. cream cheese

Mayo and Dijon Mustard

Mix a bit of mayo and a bit of Dijon mustard in a bowl.  Depending on taste, adjust the amount of the mayo and Dijon to your liking.  Set aside.  Slice the tomatoes in half and put in a bowl.  Mix with the lettuce and chopped up bacon.  Mix all ingredients together and spoon into tortillas or just put into a bowl for a salad!
