We love appetizers at our house!  Here are a few of our favorite gluten free appetizers that we enjoyed on New Year’s!   Happy 2015 🙂


Our Favorite Gluten Free New Year’s Appetizers!

Bacon Wrapped Water Chestnuts


My husband could eat an entire plate of these!  My Little Gluten Free Girl loves these too and So do I 🙂

All you do is soak one can of water chestnuts in about 2 tablespoons of gluten free soy sauce.  I like to use the sliced ones but you can use the whole ones if you want, either one works just fine.  


Cut one package of bacon into half slices, I even use 1/3 slices depending on the ratio that you are looking for of bacon to water chestnut.

Wrap a piece of bacon around a water chestnut and put on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.


Bake at 425 degrees for about 15-18 minutes.

Salami Platter

This appetizer platter is a must for My Little Gluten Free Girl 🙂  She loves it!!


Cut up several slices of really good gluten free salami.  Cut up cubes of gluten free cheddar cheese and we also used pepper jack cheese.  Put out one can of black olives. Cherry tomatoes are a must on our salami platter.  String cheese or mozzarella cheese wrapped in prosciutto is a fun bonus to have on the platter.

BBQ Polish Sausage Bites

These are really good and so easy!


I just bought one polish sausage already cooked in a package, gluten free of course.  Slice it up diagonal and put in a skillet for a few minutes to get warm on low heat.  Add about 1 cup of your favorite gluten free barbecue sauce and just let it all get nice and hot, only takes about 7 minutes or so.  Serve nice and warm.
