I am posting a few of our favorite appetizers to start out the new year!  Appetizers are so much fun!  This one we had to make a few changes to in order to make it gluten free!  It worked out great and My Little Gluten Free Girl loved it!

Santa Fe Wraps

This appetizer is usually made with flour tortillas so My Little Gluten Free Girl and I created two different ways to make them gluten free.  You could also use lettuce to make the wrap, which would be a third way to make these gluten free 🙂

The first way was to take a piece of gluten free bread and roll it flat to make a tortilla out of it!

The second way is we just used a corn tortilla which is a little hard to roll as it cracks and crumbles a little but it worked just fine to make the wraps and tasted great.

Mix together 1 eight ounce package of cream cheese with 1/2 cup of sour cream.

Add in about 2 tablespoons of gluten free salsa, 1/2 cup of chopped black olives and 1/2 cup of pepper jack cheese.  My Little Gluten Free Girl was such a big help making these.  She mixed everything together so well and she even grated the cheese!

Just spread the cream cheese mixture onto the piece of rolled out bread or corn tortilla.

Roll them up and cut into bite size pieces if you want or you can eat it like a wrap!

Gluten Free and Yummy 🙂
