This was really tasty!  A little twist on Taco Night at our house and it was yummy!

Taco Bake with Tater Tots


I just made taco meat like I normally would, brown up your favorite kind of taco meat and make it like you would for making tacos. (I add in about 1/2 jar of mild gluten free salsa into my taco meat instead of taco seasoning)

 I added in 1/2 can of black beans, rinsed, and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese and  I also put in 1 can of diced tomatoes.


Pour in a 9×13 baking dish.  Cover the top with Tater Tots.  My Sweet Boy helped me out by topping the taco bake with Tater Tots and did a great job!  He made his own pattern, it was really cute!


Bake at 425 degrees for about 20-25 minutes until the Tater Tots are golden brown.

Sprinkle a handful of sliced black olives and shredded cheddar cheese on top before serving.  Serve nice and warm!
