Oh my gosh my entire family loved these chicken strips!  They turned out really good!

Gluten Free Pretzel Chicken Tenders

These were so yummy and what I love about these is that My Little Gluten Free Girl loved them as well as my Sweet Boy who loves chicken strips, so they were a hit for everyone at dinner!

I actually got the flavored kind of gluten free pretzels, which I couldn’t believe they had.  Gluten free mustard and onion flavored pretzel sticks.  I put about half the bag in a mini food chopper and chopped them up as fine as I could.

Pour the pretzels into a bowl.  I cracked one egg into a bowl and added about 1 tablespoon of water to make an egg wash.  I used store bought gluten free chicken tenders, season with salt and pepper on both sides.  Put one tender at a time in the egg wash and cover it with egg wash, dip the chicken on both sides in the pretzels and put on a baking sheet with aluminum foil sprayed with cooking spray.  Do that for each chicken tender.

Spray the chicken tenders with cooking spray.  Put in a 350 degree oven for 10 minutes.

Take out, flip over and spray again with cooking spray and put back in the oven for another 10 minutes on the other side.

Take out and serve with lots of dipping sauces!  I used BBQ sauce, Ketchup, Dijon Mustard and our favorite fast food BBQ sauce.  (all gluten free, of course)  Use what whatever dipping sauces you like or make your own!
